About the Role

As a Lead Team Member at Dollar General, you'll be the backbone of store operations, supporting the store manager and team members to deliver outstanding customer service and operational excellence. You'll take ownership of critical store functions, mentor team members, and ensure our Holly Springs location runs smoothly during every shift.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and train team members on customer service, product knowledge, and store procedures
• Manage cash handling, reconciliation, and point-of-sale operations
• Oversee inventory management, stock organization, and merchandise displays
• Execute opening and closing store procedures while maintaining security and compliance standards
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and adherence to Dollar General operational standards
• Address customer concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy
• Support sales initiatives, promotions, and seasonal merchandising efforts
• Report to store management on operations, team performance, and store improvement opportunities

What We're Looking For

• Proven retail or customer service leadership experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate team members
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and retail operations
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering excellence every day
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
