About the Role
As a Lead Sales Associate at Dollar General, you'll take on a leadership position on the sales floor while maintaining the high standards our customers expect. You'll be a trusted team member who drives sales performance, supports your fellow associates, and ensures our customers leave satisfied.
What You'll Do
- Provide outstanding customer service, helping shoppers find products and completing transactions efficiently
- Lead by example on the sales floor, supporting and mentoring other store associates
- Handle cash, process sales transactions, and maintain accurate register operations
- Maintain store appearance, including organizing merchandise, stocking shelves, and ensuring a clean shopping environment
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment
- Respond to customer questions and resolve concerns promptly and professionally
- Contribute to a positive store culture and team environment
What We're Looking For
- Retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment
