Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Labor Relations Representative to join our team at Bechtel. This role is based in Clay, NY and offers full-time employment with no remote option.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with labor unions and employees
• Negotiate and administer collective bargaining agreements
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws
• Facilitate communication between management and union representatives
• Resolve workplace disputes and grievances in a timely manner
• Participate in the development of company policies related to labor relations

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in labor relations or a closely related field
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Familiarity with collective bargaining processes and labor laws
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Bachelor's degree in Labor Relations, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Experience working in the construction industry is advantageous
