What This Role Involves
The Lead Field Engineer - Rigging will be a key contributor to the Tallgrass CCGT project, supporting early-stage development and progressing towards full EPC delivery. The role involves working with diverse teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality rigging operations in support of the construction of one of the largest gas-fired power generation facilities in the U.S.
Core Duties
- Develop and implement rigging plans and procedures that meet project requirements and safety standards.
- Ensure all rigging activities are conducted safely, adhering to OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and construction to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and field personnel on rigging best practices.
