New Business Sales Representative (Remote) at Scholastic in Greenland, Arkansas
Position Summary
Scholastic is seeking motivated New Business Sales Consultants (NBC) to help expand access to our Book Fair programs. In this role, you will be the first point of contact with prospective schools and organizations, introducing educators and leaders to our programs that support student learning and literacy development.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Identify and engage new school and organization contacts for Scholastic Book Fairs
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers in educational institutions
- Promote Scholastic's book fair programs to enhance student literacy and reading skills
- Provide detailed information about pricing, program offerings, and benefits of participating in our book fairs
- Follow up on leads and maintain a consistent communication schedule with prospective clients
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A proven track record in sales or customer service, particularly in the educational sector
- Experience working with schools, districts, or other educational organizations is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and manage a diverse portfolio of clients
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
