Joinery Designer – PYTHA | AU Joinery Projects

Overview

We are representing a confidential joinery and cabinetry organization based in Australia. Our client is seeking an experienced Joinery Designer with strong PYTHA 3D CAD expertise to join their production team remotely from the Philippines. This is a full-time role supporting residential and commercial projects including kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, and custom cabinetry. You will work Australian business hours and collaborate closely with project managers and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed joinery shop drawings and 3D models using PYTHA 3D CAD software
• Create production-ready documentation and manufacturing drawings for cabinetry projects
• Design layouts for kitchens, wardrobes, bathroom vanities, and custom joinery installations
• Interpret architectural drawings and design specifications accurately
• Prepare cut lists, material schedules, and project documentation
• Coordinate with project managers, installers, and production teams to ensure technical accuracy
• Ensure all drawings meet Australian joinery standards and manufacturing requirements
• Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining quality and compliance

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements:

• 5+ years of joinery drafting or design experience
• Proven experience within the Australian joinery industry (mandatory)
• Strong proficiency in PYTHA software for 3D CAD drafting
• Experience preparing manufacturing drawings for joinery production
• Solid understanding of cabinet construction methods and processes
• Knowledge of hardware systems such as Blum, Hettich, Hafele, and similar brands
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications
• Detail-oriented with strong technical accuracy and manufacturing awareness
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work Australian business hours from the Philippines

• Commercial joinery project exposure
• Experience supporting Australian cabinet makers or construction firms
