What This Role Involves

This full-time position offers employment directly with your client organization, not through a staffing agency or outsourcing partner. You'll handle core accounting and tax responsibilities that are central to any US-based accounting firm or finance department, providing expertise and attention to detail that clients depend on daily.

What You'll Do

• Prepare income tax returns, partnership structures, and business entity filings
• Execute bookkeeping functions: posting transactions, reconciling accounts, producing financial statements
• Support tax planning initiatives and respond to client audit inquiries
• Interface with clients via email, phone, and video to address questions and clarifications
• Navigate different client systems and reporting standards while maintaining consistency with firm protocols

What You Bring

• Demonstrated background spanning 3 or more years in a US tax practice environment
• Command of US federal and state tax law, deductions, and compliance requirements
• Hands-on familiarity with accounting platforms and tax software
• Fluent written and spoken English suitable for client interaction
• Reliability in self-managed situations and ability to embrace varying client demands
• Dedication to accuracy, timeliness, and professional standards
