Position Summary

Pilot Company is looking for a dedicated Janitorial Maintenance team member to support our Valparaiso, IN location. This part-time position is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, hygienic, and well-organized spaces. You'll work alongside our operations team to ensure our facilities meet high cleanliness standards and provide customers with an inviting environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout retail areas and common spaces
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures
• Dust shelving, displays, and furniture in retail sections
• Empty and replace trash and recycling containers
• Maintain cleanliness of entryways and lobby areas
• Clean windows, glass doors, and exterior surfaces
• Report maintenance issues or equipment damage to management
• Restock cleaning supplies and paper products as needed
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior janitorial or cleaning experience is a plus
• Ability to use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
• Physical stamina for standing, walking, and bending throughout shifts
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
• Reliable transportation to our Valparaiso, IN facility
• Willingness to follow health and safety regulations
