About the Role

As our Inventory Control & Quality Assurance Leader at the Upper Marlboro Returns Center, you'll oversee critical inventory management and quality assurance functions that directly impact Target's operations and customer satisfaction. This leadership role combines strategic planning with hands-on operational oversight, ensuring accurate inventory tracking and consistent adherence to quality standards across all returned merchandise processing.

What You'll Do

• Direct inventory control processes, including cycle counting and data reconciliation to maintain accuracy
• Develop and enforce quality assurance protocols for returned merchandise evaluation and processing
• Lead, mentor, and supervise team members in inventory and quality functions
• Identify root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective action plans
• Track and analyze operational performance metrics, reporting findings to senior management
• Partner with warehouse and fulfillment teams to optimize returns center efficiency and throughput
• Ensure ongoing compliance with Target's quality, safety, and operational standards
