About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential government consulting organization that has delivered learning and performance solutions for nearly three decades. We are seeking a high-performing Instructional Systems Designer to support Federal Government training initiatives in Dallas, Texas.
This role sits at the intersection of learning design and strategic implementation, working directly with agency stakeholders to create impactful instructional solutions that meet mission-critical objectives.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop instructional materials for Federal Government training programs
- Conduct needs assessments and collaborate with subject matter experts to define learning objectives
- Create learner-centered content using sound instructional design principles and adult learning theory
- Develop curriculum frameworks, course outlines, and assessment strategies
- Apply systematic instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, or similar frameworks)
- Ensure all deliverables meet government compliance and quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement learning solutions
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as an Instructional Systems Designer or Instructional Designer
- Strong knowledge of instructional design models and adult learning principles
- Experience supporting Federal Government clients or working within government contracting environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency with common e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field preferred
- U.S. citizenship may be required for this federal contract position
