Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential energy sector organization seeking an engineer for technical documentation and product safety. In this role, you will:

• Provide technical support for products in mechanical engineering, precision mechanics, and electrical measurement technology
• Build and maintain consistent technical terminology across documentation
• Ensure product quality and drive continuous improvement of existing products and processes
• Support and evaluate specialized manufacturing processes with physical backgrounds, including high-temperature soldering, welding processes, and materials technology
• Contribute to new product development and optimization of existing products
• Analyze and evaluate operational success data and relevant key performance indicators
• Translate technical documentation, protocols, and instructions between German, English, and French, incorporating comments and revisions
• Review existing translations for technical accuracy, completeness, and linguistic quality
• Coordinate technical content with specialist departments and clarify technical questions
• Support international projects and communication with French-speaking business partners

What We're Looking For

• Completed technical degree in mechanical engineering, precision mechanics, materials science, electrical engineering, or comparable technical qualification
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and physical-technical principles
• Pronounced technical understanding and interest in technical products and systems
• Experience translating technical texts is advantageous
• Confident handling of technical terminology with the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new subject areas
• Analytical and structured working style
• High quality awareness and solution-oriented thinking
• Excellent language skills in German, English, and French
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficient with MS Office; experience with document management systems is ideal
