Developer – Fokus Secure Software (m/w/d)

This organization delivers custom IT solutions with a strong emphasis on secure development practices. We're seeking a Developer with a focus on Secure Software Development to join their technical team.

As part of this role, you'll contribute to building modern, secure software solutions while helping establish security as a core component of the development lifecycle. You'll work on client projects in cloud and web environments, collaborating with stakeholders and fellow developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop modern, secure software solutions in cloud and web environments using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, or Python
• Write clear, maintainable code with comprehensive unit and integration tests
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing activities
• Design new features and coordinate with project stakeholders
• Support cross-project initiatives around secure software development, including secure coding practices and security best practices
• Analyze applications for potential security risks and develop appropriate mitigation measures
• Build security awareness within the organization and stay current on topics like secure AI system development and LLM deployment
• Drive security initiatives forward with ownership and strategic thinking

What We're Looking For

• Passion for software development and IT security
• Professional experience in software projects with understanding of modern development practices
• Experience in DevSecOps, IT security, secure coding, or application security—whether you're currently building or deepening this expertise
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python
• Knowledge of Spring Boot, Angular, databases, CI/CD, cloud technologies, and generative AI is beneficial
• Curious mindset with enthusiasm for knowledge sharing and collaboration
• German language skills at B2 level or higher for client and team communication
