Forest City Trading Group is hiring a Flight Centre – Ingénieur(e) en intelligence artificielle (IA) to work remotely from anywhere in Canada, building production-grade AI that reshapes how the world travels.

About the Role

As an AI Engineer within Flight Centre Travel Group's AI Centre of Excellence, you will design and ship solutions powered by large language models (LLMs) that elevate the customer journey and streamline operations worldwide. You'll join a fast-moving, startup-minded team backed by a global organization, owning high-impact projects in a fully remote, Canada-based setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, develop, and tune LLM-driven solutions for natural language processing, conversational AI, and automated decision-making
• Embed LLM capabilities across the organization's various platforms and products
• Investigate and prototype emerging AI tools, models, and architectures
• Write clean, scalable, and dependable Python for production AI applications
• Create and maintain APIs and services that deliver AI solutions to users
• Deploy and operate AI workloads on cloud platforms, with an emphasis on Azure
• Monitor system performance and continuously refine models
• Apply sound practices in model training, data handling, and deployment
• Partner with product and engineering teams to align solutions with business goals
• Help foster a safe, inclusive, and accessible workplace where every team member feels respected and supported

Qualifications

• Strong Python skills with a track record of shipping AI applications to production
• Demonstrated experience in machine learning, particularly NLP and AI automation
• Hands-on experience deploying AI solutions in cloud environments, especially Azure
• Practical, in-depth knowledge of LLMs such as those from OpenAI and Hugging Face
• Familiarity with frameworks like LangChain (a plus)
• Experience deploying and optimizing LLMs in production
• Working knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools such as Datadog)
• Travel industry experience (a plus)
• A reliable high-speed internet connection
• French/English bilingualism is required, as the role involves working with both French- and English-speaking colleagues
