Ingénieur d’affaires confirmé/Senior Account Manager (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential automotive technology client seeking a Senior Account Manager for their French operations. In this role, you will:

• Manage and develop a portfolio of key French accounts, establishing account plans and dedicated commercial strategies while building strong client relationships
• Own an annual sales quota and drive revenue growth through strategic prospecting and account development
• Provide consultative guidance to clients and prospects, demonstrating deep understanding of their ecosystems, business needs, and industry evolution
• Coordinate technical solution definitions with French and German technical teams, preparing commercial proposals for both sales and maintenance in accordance with pricing policies
• Collaborate with extended sales teams on global accounts
• Deliver accurate sales forecasting and regular reporting
• Manage the complete sales cycle from proposal development through contract negotiation to invoicing
• Represent the organization at trade shows, events, and internal/external working groups

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree (BAC+5) in engineering, mechatronics, business engineering, or equivalent in mechanical engineering; dual degree with commercial background appreciated
• Minimum 5 years of experience selling complex software and/or engineering solutions, preferably in the automotive sector, with proven track record of meeting targets
• Experience negotiating multi-year contracts and managing senior-level relationships
• Excellent interpersonal skills with client-focused, attentive, curious, and rigorous approach; high level of integrity and autonomy with positive team spirit
• Technical interest in numerical simulation and strong affinity for the automotive industry and its transformations
• Availability for frequent travel within France; French driving license required
• Availability for occasional international travel
• Fluent in French and English
