The College of Southern Idaho is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Information & Assistance Specialist (Part-Time) to join the CSI Office on Aging in Twin Falls, Twin Falls County. In this role, you will serve as a trusted first point of contact, helping older adults and their caregivers navigate the resources and support services available to them.
About the Role
As an Information & Assistance Specialist with the College of Southern Idaho, you will connect community members with the programs they need and ensure they are matched to the right services. Working within the CSI Office on Aging in Twin Falls, you will guide clients through funded support options and help maintain the records that keep these services running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Share clear, accurate information about programs and resources designed for older adults and their caregivers.
- Assess individual needs and refer clients to the appropriate services when assistance is required.
- Conduct intake assessments for programs the CSI Office on Aging funds and delivers through contracted providers, including Respite care and Home Delivered Meals.
- Build, update, and organize client records, resource directories, and community partner referral information.
- Coordinate with contracted providers and community partners to support continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with genuine empathy for older adults and caregivers.
- Comfort conducting intake assessments and accurately documenting client and resource information.
- Organizational ability to manage records and referral details with care and consistency.
- A collaborative approach to working alongside community partners and service providers.
- Willingness to work on-site in Twin Falls, Twin Falls County.
