About the Role

As Indirect License Compliance Services Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of our license compliance services delivery for indirect tax clients. EY's Exceptional Delivery and Growth Engine (EDGE) is built on innovation and excellence—this position sits at the center of that mission. You'll be responsible for ensuring clients maintain full regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions, managing complex licensing requirements, and delivering advisory counsel on compliance risk and optimization.

What You'll Do

• Lead and develop a team of compliance professionals, providing coaching, feedback, and career development opportunities
• Direct client engagements related to business license compliance, tax license maintenance, and regulatory filings
• Oversee compliance documentation, reporting, and quality assurance across all client deliverables
• Identify process improvements and implement efficiencies that enhance service delivery and client value
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the trusted advisor for license compliance matters
• Collaborate cross-functionally with tax and advisory teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Stay current on changing regulatory and compliance requirements across relevant jurisdictions

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field
• CPA certification or equivalent professional credential preferred
• 5+ years of experience in tax compliance, licensing, or related services
• Demonstrated experience managing and developing teams
• Strong knowledge of indirect tax, business licensing, or compliance requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
