What You'll Do

• Conduct on-site inspections of residential and commercial properties to evaluate damage resulting from storms, wind, hail, water, and other covered perils
• Photograph, measure, and document all observed damage in thorough, accurate written reports
• Estimate repair and replacement costs using industry-standard estimating platforms
• Review applicable policy language to determine coverage scope and claim validity
• Communicate clearly and professionally with policyholders, contractors, and insurance carriers throughout the claims process
• Submit complete, well-organized claim files within required timeframes
• Travel to loss sites throughout the Anderson, South Carolina region and surrounding areas as needed

What We're Looking For

• Active South Carolina adjuster license, or commitment to obtaining licensure promptly
• Familiarity with property claims estimating software (experience with Xactimate or similar platforms is a strong plus)
• Working knowledge of residential and commercial construction methods and materials
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, thorough damage assessments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with homeowners and carriers alike
• Self-motivated and able to manage a field-based workload independently
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local and regional travel
• Prior experience in insurance claims, construction, or a related field is beneficial but not always required
