About the Role
As a Monitor II, you'll ensure student safety and positive behavior during lunch periods and while supervising crossing duty. Working 4–6 hours per day across 170 duty days annually, you'll be a trusted presence that helps students transition safely throughout the school day.
What You'll Do
- Supervise students in the lunchroom, maintaining order and encouraging appropriate conduct
- Monitor students crossing campus or streets adjacent to school property
- Respond promptly to safety concerns and report incidents to school administration
- Support the school's discipline and safety policies consistently
- Communicate with teachers and administrators about student behavior and safety issues
- Help create a secure, welcoming environment for all students
What We're Looking For

- Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately in diverse situations
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
- Willingness to enforce school policies fairly and consistently
