HVAC Lead Installer – (Rochester, NY)

Topline Heating & Air is hiring a full-time HVAC Lead Installer to serve homeowners across Rochester, NY and the surrounding Brighton, Monroe County area. If you take pride in clean, code-compliant residential installations and want to lead jobs from start to finish, this on-site role was built for you.

About the Role

As the HVAC Lead Installer at Topline Heating & Air, you'll own the installation of residential heating and cooling systems in customers' homes throughout the Rochester, NY region. This is a hands-on leadership position: you set the pace on each job site, mentor helpers, and make sure every system is installed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the installation of residential furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related HVAC equipment
• Direct and support installation crew members on site, ensuring quality and timeliness
• Verify that all work meets manufacturer specifications and local code requirements
• Communicate clearly with homeowners and treat their property with care
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and confirm systems are running correctly before leaving the job

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience installing residential HVAC systems
• Ability to lead a crew and take ownership of a job from start to finish
• Strong knowledge of heating and cooling equipment, tools, and safe work practices
• Reliable, customer-focused, and comfortable working on site in the Brighton / Monroe County area
• Valid driver's license for travel to job sites (paid drive time provided)

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual earnings of $73,152 – $138,210, based on experience and performance and inclusive of bonuses
• Monthly performance bonuses ranging from $500 to $4,000
