Head of Production (m/f/x)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential creative agency seeking a Head of Production to lead both strategic planning and day-to-day operations. In this role, you will:

• Develop and refine production processes, standards, and operational frameworks to support scalable growth
• Lead the production team as a Skill Lead, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and maintaining consistently high quality standards
• Serve as Producer on select high-profile projects, ensuring creative vision, quality, timeline, and budget align seamlessly
• Conceptualize and implement an AI-enabled production system by selecting the right technology stack and collaborating with internal technical teams to deploy it effectively
• Calculate fixed-price production budgets, protect margins, and strategically allocate resources for maximum impact
• Build and manage a network of external production partners for premium projects, ensuring all collaborators meet quality expectations

What We're Looking For

Our client needs a seasoned production leader with hands-on experience and strategic vision. The ideal candidate brings:

• Solid experience producing social media and connected TV content, with deep understanding of the full production lifecycle from concept to final delivery
• Proven experience leading and developing production teams, including providing clear direction, constructive feedback, and setting quality benchmarks
• Strong understanding of how to build efficient and sustainable production processes, tools, and operational structures
• Practical experience with AI-enabled production and post-production workflows, with clear judgment on when AI, hybrid approaches, or traditional methods are most appropriate
• Structured working style with strong decision-making skills and the ability to coordinate diverse internal and external stakeholders
• Location in Berlin with native-level German and fluent professional English
