Position Summary

As Head of Digital Operating Model & Development Excellence at IF in 5 Locations, you will provide strategic direction for digital operating frameworks and champion excellence across product and software development practices. You will guide teams in refining processes, embedding best-in-class methodologies, and aligning digital delivery models with broader organizational goals. The position requires clear ownership of operating model maturity, continuous improvement culture, and the ability to translate vision into practical, scalable approaches that teams can adopt for long-term impact.

Responsibilities

• Design, evolve, and govern digital operating models that clarify roles, workflows, decision rights, and collaboration patterns across digital value streams.
• Lead development excellence programs that raise coding standards, quality practices, delivery predictability, and cross-functional effectiveness.
• Establish metrics, feedback loops, and governance mechanisms that measure operating model health and development performance.
• Partner with technology, product, and business leaders to embed consistent agile, DevOps, and product-centric ways of working.
• Identify capability gaps and sponsor coaching, tooling, and process improvements that accelerate team maturity and delivery outcomes.
• Facilitate communities of practice and knowledge-sharing forums that promote reusable patterns and reduce friction in digital execution.
• Advise senior stakeholders on operating model risks, investment priorities, and the trajectory of development excellence initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Proven leadership experience guiding digital operating models or large-scale development transformation programs.
• Deep familiarity with contemporary practices such as agile scaling, platform engineering, continuous delivery, and team topologies principles.

• Structured problem-solving aptitude combined with comfort defining strategy while remaining close to day-to-day operational realities.
