Head of Data & Operational Intelligence

Socure is seeking a Head of Data & Operational Intelligence to lead our data strategy and operational analytics initiatives in Carson City, Nevada. In this full-time leadership role, you'll drive data-driven decision-making across the organization while building world-class intelligence capabilities.

About the Role

As Head of Data & Operational Intelligence at Socure, you'll own the strategic direction of our data platform and operational analytics infrastructure. This is an opportunity to shape how a global identity trust company leverages data to verify identities in real time, prevent fraud, and deliver impact at scale. You'll lead teams that build the intelligence systems serving businesses, governments, and millions of people relying on Socure's identity verification solutions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Define and execute the data and operational intelligence roadmap, aligning analytics capabilities with corporate strategy
• Build and mentor high-performing teams of data engineers, analysts, and intelligence specialists
• Design and oversee architecture for data pipelines, warehousing, and real-time analytics infrastructure
• Develop operational dashboards and reporting systems that enable stakeholders to make faster, better-informed decisions
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate operational challenges into data-driven solutions
• Own data quality, governance, and compliance standards across the organization
• Identify emerging opportunities to leverage data for competitive advantage and operational efficiency

What You Bring

• 10+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or operational intelligence, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity
• Proven track record scaling data platforms and analytics teams from the ground up
• Deep expertise in modern data stack technologies (data warehouses, ETL/ELT tools, analytics frameworks)
• Strong understanding of real-time data processing and operational intelligence use cases
• Excellent communication skills—ability to translate technical complexity for non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in regulated industries, fintech, fraud prevention, or identity verification is a plus
• Strategic mindset with the ability to balance short-term operational needs with long-term architectural vision
