Head of Corporate Real Estate & Workplace Strategy

Wilmington Trust is seeking a Head of Corporate Real Estate & Workplace Strategy to lead our real estate portfolio and workplace initiatives in Buffalo, Erie County. This is a full-time position that shapes how our organization's physical spaces and workplace environment evolve to support our employees and serve our customers.

About the Role

As Head of Corporate Real Estate & Workplace Strategy, you will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic vision for our real estate portfolio and workplace environment. You'll partner with senior leadership to ensure our physical spaces and workplace policies support collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence across our organization.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement comprehensive real estate strategy that aligns with organizational goals and financial objectives
• Oversee the management and optimization of our office portfolio, including space planning, design, and utilization
• Lead workplace transformation initiatives that enhance employee experience and support diverse work arrangements
• Manage relationships with external real estate advisors, architects, and facilities partners
• Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining spaces that support innovation and connection
• Ensure workplace design and policies reflect our commitment to employee wellness, sustainability, and inclusive culture
• Collaborate with human resources, operations, and business leaders on workplace strategy and planning

What We're Looking For

• Significant experience in corporate real estate management, workplace strategy, or facilities leadership
• Proven track record developing and executing real estate and workplace strategies for large organizations
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing real estate budgets and cost optimization
• Knowledge of workplace trends, including flexible work arrangements and collaborative space design
• Excellent leadership and project management skills with ability to influence across organizational levels
• Strategic thinking combined with attention to operational detail
• Bachelor's degree in real estate, business administration, facilities management, or related field
