About the Role

As a Graduate Nurse on our Medical-Surgical unit, you'll provide direct patient care while building essential clinical skills under the guidance of experienced nurses. This full-time position combines hands-on patient care with mentored learning, allowing you to develop confidence in acute care settings. You'll work with patients across a range of medical and surgical diagnoses, gaining breadth of experience critical to your foundation as a professional nurse.

What You'll Do

• Deliver direct patient care including assessment, vital sign monitoring, and clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams on patient treatment plans
• Communicate patient status and clinical observations to the healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments under appropriate clinical supervision
• Educate patients and families about conditions, care plans, and recovery expectations
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure timely documentation
• Participate in unit rounds, huddles, and team discussions
• Apply evidence-based practice and clinical standards in your daily work with preceptor support

What We're Looking For

• Current Wisconsin RN licensure or eligibility to obtain before your start date
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Valid BLS/CPR certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Dedication to patient-centered, compassionate care
• Openness to learning and clinical mentorship
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment
