Graduate Nurse (GN)/Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit

The Opportunity

In a Progressive Care Unit setting, you'll work as a clinical leader focused on patient-centered care. You'll collaborate closely with an experienced Charge Nurse, Patient Care Manager, Director, and Vice President of Patient Care who support your professional growth. This role is ideal for nurses entering practice or those transitioning into specialized acute care, where you'll apply nursing standards and evidence-based practices to support patient recovery and wellness across all age groups.

Core Duties

• Deliver age-appropriate, individualized nursing care to patients ranging from neonates and pediatric patients to adolescents, geriatric patients, and adults
• Monitor patient vital signs, assess clinical status, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders and established nursing protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records and documentation
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Support infection control measures and maintain a safe, clean patient care environment
• Participate in ongoing professional development and unit-based quality improvement initiatives

What You Bring

• Current RN licensure in Missouri or valid Graduate Nurse (GN) status with RN eligibility
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Compassion, patience, and excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple patients while maintaining attention to detail
• Commitment to following nursing standards and scope of practice
• Adaptability and willingness to work collaboratively within a dynamic healthcare team
• Basic life support certification or willingness to obtain
