About the Role
As a Graduate Assistant for Campus Ministry at Barry University, you will support the day-to-day coordination of Ministry & Chapel activities and provide hands-on, on-site assistance for faith-based events and worship spaces. Rooted in the university's identity as a Catholic, Adrian Dominican institution, this position contributes to the spiritual formation and personal development of students, staff, and the wider Barry community through student engagement and ministry.
Key Responsibilities
- Help plan and coordinate Ministry & Chapel programming throughout the academic year.
- Provide on-site logistical support before, during, and after faith-based events and services.
- Assist with the care, preparation, and upkeep of chapel and ministry spaces.
- Promote ministry offerings and encourage participation across the Barry University community.
- Support initiatives that foster spiritual growth and a sense of belonging among students.
Qualifications
- Enrollment in or eligibility for a graduate program, consistent with a graduate assistantship.
- Genuine commitment to and respect for Barry University's Catholic, Adrian Dominican mission and values.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Miami Shores and collaborate within a student engagement environment.
