General Manager – Operations

Prime System Solutions is seeking a General Manager – Operations to lead operational excellence across our business from a remote position. This full-time role is based in Cape Town City Centre, Western Cape, South Africa, and offers the opportunity to shape how we deliver service quality and operational efficiency.

About the Role

As General Manager – Operations, you will oversee all operational functions to ensure we meet strategic objectives and deliver measurable results. You'll take accountability for process optimisation, resource allocation, and team performance across multiple departments. This role requires someone who thrives when building systems that scale, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Core Duties

• Lead and manage operational teams, setting clear performance expectations and fostering accountability
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and systems that enhance efficiency
• Monitor key performance indicators and financial metrics to ensure targets are met
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve productivity
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and operational forecasting
• Oversee supply chain, resource planning, and vendor relationships
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
