Lead For America invites dedicated service professionals to join the Alabama-American Connection Corps in Dothan, Houston County. This full-time, in-person placement offers an opportunity to advance digital connectivity initiatives that expand access to critical services and economic opportunity within underserved communities.
About This Position
The Alabama-American Connection Corps (ACC) is a placement-based fellowship that works to strengthen community technology infrastructure and digital access. Corps members focus on identifying connectivity gaps and implementing solutions that enable residents and institutions to access essential services—from remote healthcare to employment pathways—and build long-term economic resilience.
Core Duties
- Work with community members and local institutions to identify and assess digital connectivity challenges
- Support development and execution of technology access and digital literacy programs
- Coordinate with schools, healthcare facilities, libraries, government offices, and employers to advance digital opportunity
- Offer technical assistance and training to help residents utilize digital resources
- Track and communicate program outcomes and lessons learned
- Serve as a professional representative of Lead For America in community engagement

- Availability for full-time, in-person commitment in Dothan, Houston County
- Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal
