About the Role
As a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant with Centra Healthcare Allied, you will deliver hands-on therapy services within the Physical Therapy discipline at a facility in Parsippany-Troy Hills, New Jersey. This is a travel position scheduled to start as soon as possible, with day shifts and a full-time workload across the contract period.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out physical therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising physical therapist.
- Assist patients through therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and recovery activities.
- Monitor patient progress and document responses to treatment accurately.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive therapy environment.
- Collaborate with the broader clinical team to promote positive patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Active licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Prior experience practicing within the Physical Therapy specialty.
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment beginning immediately.
- Willingness to work an 8-hour day shift, 40 hours per week.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
