About the Role

This full-time travel position invites an experienced Physical Therapy Assistant to support patient rehabilitation in Cranbury, New Jersey. Working alongside licensed physical therapists, you will help patients regain mobility, strength, and independence over a 13-week contract scheduled at 40 hours per week across 8-hour day shifts, with an immediate (ASAP) start.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans developed by supervising physical therapists for assigned patients.
• Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and mobility activities.
• Track patient progress and report changes in condition to the supervising therapist.
• Document treatment sessions accurately and in line with facility standards.
• Prepare equipment and treatment areas to keep sessions safe and effective.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the broader care team during your assignment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working as a Physical Therapy Assistant, ideally in a rehabilitation or therapy setting.
• Appropriate credentialing to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in New Jersey.
• Availability for a 13-week travel assignment beginning as soon as possible.
• Flexibility to commit to a 40-hour week of 8-hour day shifts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-focused, collaborative approach to care.
