Functional Consultant & Project Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization that is transforming enterprise automation through artificial intelligence. Our client operates globally, serving hundreds of enterprise customers across 40+ countries. Following recent growth investment, they are expanding their presence in German-speaking markets.

We are seeking a Functional Consultant & Project Manager to join their team in Germany. This role combines technical implementation, client consulting, and project leadership. You will own end-to-end implementations of AI-powered enterprise automation solutions, working directly with major organizations to optimize their finance, procurement, and logistics processes.

Following comprehensive onboarding at the company's headquarters in Zurich, this position will be based remotely or hybrid from Germany or Austria. Monthly visits to Zurich are encouraged and financially supported.

Responsibilities

• Lead complete implementation lifecycles from requirements gathering through delivery, ensuring high customer satisfaction and continuous improvement
• Design scalable, customized solutions that align with customer workflows and business objectives, translating complex requirements into clear technical specifications
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical challenges, adapt systems to unique client processes, and ensure successful integration with existing enterprise systems
• Serve as the trusted advisor to clients, anticipating needs, surfacing insights, and maximizing automation adoption and ROI
• Partner with sales teams to develop tailored implementation plans and drive deep product adoption across client organizations
• Provide product feedback based on client experiences to inform platform improvements and roadmap priorities
• Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining quality standards and stakeholder alignment

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 2+ years of experience in consulting, technical implementation, process automation, or project management
• Demonstrated project management expertise with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Proven cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to manage diverse stakeholder groups
• Strong analytical capabilities and communication skills, with ability to translate business requirements into technical action plans
• Fluency in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence presenting to native-speaking clients

Preferred Experience:

• Background with ERP systems or AI-driven SaaS platforms
• Hands-on experience with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) or Order-to-Cash (O2C) workflows
