Frontend Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI productivity software company building next-generation web applications. Our client is developing intelligent tools that bring AI capabilities directly into everyday workflows like messaging, document creation, scheduling, and collaboration.

We're seeking a Frontend Engineer to build core web experiences across multiple product surfaces. You'll own complex, highly interactive features from architecture through implementation, working in a high-talent-density team focused on delivering exceptional user experiences.

This role is based in Switzerland.

Responsibilities

• Build major web experiences across chat, notes, calendar, document, and spreadsheet applications
• Develop complex interactions including real-time messaging, collaborative editing, rich-text editing, scheduling, and table management
• Create reusable frontend architecture and components that work consistently across multiple applications
• Integrate streaming AI responses and model-driven experiences directly into product workflows
• Own frontend performance, responsiveness, reliability, and accessibility across browsers and devices
• Collaborate closely with product, design, backend, and AI engineers to ship features from prototype to production quickly
• Independently own features from technical design through production launch

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience building complex, production web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern frontend technologies
• Deep understanding of frontend architecture, state management, browser APIs, and performance optimization
• Experience building highly interactive products such as chat applications, collaboration tools, productivity software, document editors, calendars, or workspace platforms
• Experience with real-time systems, WebSockets, streaming APIs, or collaborative interfaces
• Strong product and UI judgment with close attention to interaction details
• Ability to make technical decisions independently and execute with minimal guidance
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment that balances speed with quality
