Forward Deployed Product Manager

Join Sendbird as a Forward Deployed Product Manager in San Mateo, California for a full-time role that brings together customer-site AI agent deployment with product strategy influence. You'll work directly with enterprise customers to design and implement AI solutions, then drive platform evolution based on field insights.

What This Role Involves

You'll embed with enterprise customers to design and deploy AI agents that transform their customer experience workflows. This isn't a handoff role; you own the full arc from scoping through post-launch iteration, ensuring deployments deliver measurable business outcomes. Your work takes you between customer sites and headquarters, where insights from the field drive decisions that shape the product roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with enterprise customers to map their CX workflows and design AI agent deployments using Sendbird's platform and supporting tools
• Manage the complete deployment lifecycle—from configuration and testing through go-live and ongoing optimization
• Translate customer insights and deployment learnings into structured feedback for product and engineering teams
• Build and refine internal playbooks, templates, and tools that accelerate future deployments
• Act as the bridge between customer success, engineering, and product to ensure information and momentum flow across teams
• Identify patterns across deployments that reveal product gaps or opportunities, and advocate for them with evidence and customer context
• Maintain accountability for deployment outcomes alongside customers; you're not passing off a ticket, you're owning impact

Skills & Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience in product management or product-facing roles (strategy consulting background is particularly valuable)
• Computer Science degree or technical equivalent demonstrating software development understanding
• Hands-on familiarity with AI tools, LLM frameworks, or agent systems through actual work, not just experimentation
• Ability to work in the San Mateo office a minimum of 3 days per week with flexibility for frequent travel on short notice
• Plus factor: prior experience building and launching products from the ground up
• Plus factor: hands-on experience with AI/ML tooling, LLM pipelines, or agent frameworks
