Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

Prime System Solutions is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to join our team in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. In this full-time role, you will support strategic financial decision-making through insightful data analysis, forecasting, and business performance reporting.

What This Role Involves

As a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst, you will bridge finance and operations by translating complex financial data into actionable business insights. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to develop forecasts, monitor budget performance, and identify opportunities for improved financial outcomes. This position is ideal for someone who combines analytical rigour with the ability to communicate findings to both financial and non-financial audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to support strategic business planning
• Monitor budget performance against actuals and investigate variances requiring management attention
• Prepare periodic financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership
• Support departmental and business unit financial planning and forecasting cycles
• Analyse profitability, cost structures, and operational metrics across the organisation
• Collaborate with accounting, operations, and business leaders to enhance financial processes and controls
• Maintain and update financial systems, databases, and analytical tools
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and capital allocation decisions

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, financial modelling, and data analysis tools
• Strong working knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles
• Demonstrated ability to manage large datasets and extract meaningful business conclusions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to prioritise multiple projects and deliver results against tight deadlines
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong logical and problem-solving capabilities
• Previous experience in financial planning, budgeting, or business analysis preferred
