Reporter (in-office only)

The Christian Post is hiring a full-time Reporter (in-office only) to join our Washington, D.C. newsroom and cover the stories that matter most to people of faith.

About the Role

As a Reporter at The Christian Post in Washington, D.C., you will produce timely, daily coverage of events shaping and impacting the Christian community, reported through a biblical, Christian worldview. This is an on-site position based in our D.C. newsroom, where you will write regularly for CP's online platform and contribute to one of the most-read faith-focused news outlets. We are looking for a driven, professional journalist with genuine enthusiasm for the news cycle and a commitment to accurate, engaging storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, write, and file original news stories on a daily basis for The Christian Post's digital platform.
• Cover developments, issues, and events involving and affecting the Christian community.
• Frame reporting through a thoughtful biblical, Christian worldview while upholding journalistic accuracy.
• Verify facts, attend to detail, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
• Collaborate closely with editors and fellow reporters as part of a tight-knit team.

Qualifications

• A motivated, professional journalist with a demonstrated passion for news and current events.
• Strong writing skills and a sharp eye for detail and accuracy.
• A dependable work ethic and the ability to produce quality content consistently.
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach to working within a newsroom.
• Willingness and ability to work on-site, in-office, in Washington, D.C. (this role is not remote).
