About the Role
Invenergy is North America's largest privately held power infrastructure developer, owner, and operator. We build and maintain diverse energy systems—from natural gas and solar to land-based wind, energy storage, and transmission projects. As a Field Service Technician in Madison, you'll be essential to our operations, ensuring equipment performance and reliability across our portfolio.
What You'll Do
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of power generation and energy storage equipment at active project sites
- Diagnose technical issues and execute troubleshooting procedures to minimize downtime
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain full compliance with industry regulations and company standards
- Document maintenance activities, system performance, and work completion in field reports
- Collaborate with site supervisors, engineering teams, and other technicians to support project operations
- Respond to service requests and emergency repairs as needed during rotational assignments
- Travel to project sites located throughout North America on a four-week/one-week schedule
What We're Looking For
- Technical training, apprenticeship, or certification in electrical, mechanical, or power systems work
- Proven experience with equipment installation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
