The Opportunity
Join Kiewit's Transportation market team as a Field Engineer responsible for on-site leadership and oversight. What You'll Do
- Lead health and safety initiatives and establish rigorous safety standards across active construction sites
- Oversee quality control and ensure all work meets professional and ethical construction standards
- Conduct field inspections, verify compliance with specifications, and document workmanship quality
- Prepare and communicate inspection reports, progress documentation, and technical findings to Project Engineers
- Coordinate with subcontractors and field crews to align daily operations with project requirements and schedules
- Support project administration including scheduling, resource planning, and field documentation
Who We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Experience in heavy civil construction or large-scale infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and quality assurance practices
