About the Role
This is a full-time, 1099 independent contractor position based in the Indianapolis, Indiana area. As a Field Adjuster with CCMS & Associates, you will handle first-party residential and/or commercial property claims, working in the field to assess damage, document findings, and deliver accurate, timely results. We are actively expanding our roster and looking for a skilled professional who is ready to start contributing right away.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and evaluate first-party residential and/or commercial property claims throughout the Indianapolis and Marion County region.
- Conduct thorough on-site field investigations to determine the scope and extent of property damage.
- Document inspections with detailed notes, measurements, and photographs to support each claim.
- Prepare clear, well-organized reports and estimates based on your field findings.
- Communicate professionally with policyholders and stakeholders throughout the claims process.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on field adjusting experience in residential and/or commercial claims.
- Demonstrated background handling first-party commercial and/or residential property losses.
- Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor while managing your own schedule and workload.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and reliable field documentation practices.
- Based in or able to cover the Indianapolis, IN area, including Marion County.
