About the Role

As a full-time Personal Care Assistant with Empower U. in Auburn, Gloucester County, you'll deliver respite care to individuals between the ages of 5 and 21. This is an on-site, hands-on position centered on after-school, evening, and weekend support — giving families reliable relief while helping each young person feel safe, valued, and empowered at home.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive personal care and respite support to children and young adults ages 5–21 with developmental disabilities.
• Assist clients during after-school hours, evenings, and weekends in their own homes.
• Encourage independence, social engagement, and the growth of daily living skills.
• Foster a supportive, respectful, and nurturing environment for each individual you serve.
• Partner with families to reinforce care plans and promote positive outcomes for youth.
