About the Role

CCMS & Associates is expanding its network of independent appraisers and adjusters throughout Richmond, Richmond County. We're seeking experienced professionals to assess damage, prepare cost estimates, and produce detailed appraisal reports for auto and heavy equipment claims. As a 1099 independent contractor, you'll have flexibility in managing your schedule while building your own appraiser practice within our established roster.

What You'll Do

• Perform on-site inspections of damaged vehicles and heavy equipment
• Document damage extent with photos, measurements, and detailed notes
• Research and calculate repair cost estimates using industry-standard guides and current labor rates
• Prepare comprehensive written appraisals meeting insurance claim requirements
• Submit completed reports within required deadlines
• Communicate findings to adjusters, policyholders, and repair facilities
• Maintain organized records and documentation for each assignment

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience appraising automotive and/or heavy equipment damage
• Strong understanding of repair procedures, parts sourcing, and labor standards
• Ability to provide objective, well-justified damage assessments and estimates
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
• Professional approach to independent contractor work with self-management capability
• Experience with appraisal software and digital documentation tools preferred
