About the Role
In this full-time position, you'll work at the intersection of creative design and technical production. Using industry-standard CAD software and illustration techniques, you'll develop the patterns, specifications, and visual documentation our production team depends on. Every design you create contributes to Dana-Co's reputation for quality and attention to detail in intimate apparel.
What You'll Do
- Design technical garment specifications and patterns using professional CAD software
- Produce detailed technical illustrations and spec sheets for production and quality teams
- Partner with designers to develop concepts into production-ready patterns
- Create and evaluate fit samples, identifying refinements for construction and comfort
- Build and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and specification standards
- Contribute design insights informed by current market trends and customer expectations
- Support continuous improvement in design efficiency and garment performance
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated expertise in fashion CAD software (Gerber, Lectra, or comparable systems)
- Proficiency in technical illustration and precision garment drawing
- Strong knowledge of intimate apparel construction methods and fit principles
- Proven design background in intimate apparel, activewear, or similar categories
- Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams including designers and manufacturers
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to high-quality deliverables
- Professional portfolio demonstrating your CAD design and illustration work
