About This Position

The Football Foundation is seeking a Facilities Planning Manager to join our team. As the premier charity delivering outstanding grassroots facilities and more places to play in the UK, this role will be crucial in transforming lives through community sports initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for facility development projects.
• Collaborate with local communities, stakeholders, and partners to identify needs and opportunities for new facilities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the planning process.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively to deliver projects within scope and time constraints.
• Provide regular updates and reports on project progress to senior management and stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications

• A degree or relevant qualification in a related field such as planning, architecture, or community development.
• Proven experience in facilities planning within the sports sector or similar industries.
• Strong project management skills with an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse stakeholders.
• Adept at using project management tools and software.

Working at The Football Foundation

The Football Foundation is committed to creating a positive, inclusive workplace culture that values diversity. We offer competitive salaries ranging from £40,000 - £46,000 per annum, dependent on relevant skills and experience. This role will require some business travel to fulfil the duties and responsibilities of the position.
