Demand Planning Manager, Tate’s

Mondelez International is seeking a Demand Planning Manager for Tate's Bake Shop, based in Smiths Point, Suffolk County. In this full-time role, you will drive the demand planning strategy that keeps our beloved baked goods flowing to customers across the country, serving as the vital bridge between sales forecasts and supply chain execution.

About the Role

As Demand Planning Manager for Tate's, you'll own the end-to-end demand planning process, managing both weekly and monthly forecasts at the individual SKU and customer level. You'll be the critical connector linking our Sales team's market insights, Supply Planning's operational needs, and our Customer & Logistics performance metrics. Your planning expertise will directly impact inventory efficiency, fill rates, and profitability across one of our signature brands.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain accurate weekly and monthly demand plans across all Tate's products and customer segments
• Collaborate closely with Sales to incorporate market trends, promotional activity, and growth initiatives into forecasts
• Partner with Supply Planning to ensure demand forecasts align with production and distribution capabilities
• Monitor demand plan performance, analyze variances, and implement process improvements
• Prepare and present demand planning insights to cross-functional stakeholders
• Manage SKU-level and customer-level forecasting models using planning systems and analytics tools

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain planning roles
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and demand planning software
• Excellent communication abilities and experience working across Sales, Operations, and Logistics teams
• Solid understanding of supply chain processes and inventory management principles
• Ability to manage multiple planning cycles and priorities with attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
