Right at Home Anne Arundel is seeking an experienced dementia caregiver to deliver compassionate, dependable in-home support for a client in Glen Burnie, Maryland. This full-time role offers evening hours Monday through Friday, with the opportunity to provide meaningful care for someone navigating cognitive challenges.

Position Summary

Dementia care demands both clinical attentiveness and emotional warmth. This position offers an ideal fit for caregivers who excel at building trust with individuals experiencing memory loss or cognitive decline, while maintaining a calm, patient demeanor. Working within a client's home environment, you'll become a trusted presence in their daily life, helping them maintain dignity and quality of life.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Providing personal care assistance with activities of daily living
• Supporting medication management and health reminders
• Preparing meals and ensuring proper nutrition
• Engaging the client in meaningful conversation and memory-based activities
• Monitoring for safety and changes in health or behavior
• Maintaining a clean, safe home environment
• Building and maintaining trusting relationships through compassionate interaction
• Documenting care provided and reporting to supervisory staff
