Sierra Del Sol Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Server (Dining Services Associate) to join our team in Fort Lowell, Pima County. In this full-time role, you'll create meaningful dining experiences for our residents while building rewarding, long-term relationships in a vibrant senior living community.
About the Role
As a Dining Services Associate at Sierra Del Sol Senior Living, you're central to our residents' daily wellness and happiness. Unlike traditional hospitality servers in restaurants or hotels, you'll work in a close-knit senior community where every meal is an opportunity to make a genuine difference. Your focus is on ensuring each resident enjoys a safe, comfortable, and pleasant dining experience—and the personal connections matter just as much as the service itself.
What You'll Do
- Serve nutritious, hot meals and beverages to residents with warmth and attentiveness
- Take meal orders and accommodate individual dietary preferences and medical restrictions
- Clear and reset tables promptly while maintaining a clean, sanitary dining environment
- Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols
- Respond promptly and courteously to resident requests and special needs
- Coordinate with our culinary and kitchen teams to ensure smooth, timely meal service
- Build rapport with residents and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive dining community
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior food service or dining experience (preferred but not required)
- Genuine passion for senior care and excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Physical capacity to stand, walk, lift, and carry trays for extended periods
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive, compassionate attitude toward our residents
