About the Role

As a Project Manager - Steel Fabrication with Gpac, you will guide custom steel fabrication projects through their full lifecycle in Shenandoah, East Baton Rouge Parish. This on-site, full-time position centers on heavy industrial work, giving you direct accountability for the schedule, budget, and quality of each engagement you lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead custom steel fabrication projects from the moment they are awarded through to completion.
• Manage project schedules, control budgets, and track costs to keep work on time and on target.
• Oversee fabrication of pressure vessels, piping systems, structural components, and OEM assemblies.
• Coordinate teams, resources, and deliverables across each phase of heavy industrial steel work.
• Serve as the central point of contact, keeping stakeholders informed on progress and milestones.

Qualifications

• Proven, hands-on experience managing steel fabrication or comparable heavy industrial projects.
• Strong command of scheduling, budgeting, and cost-control practices.
• Working knowledge of fabricated products such as pressure vessels, piping systems, structural steel, and OEM components.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication abilities to drive projects to completion.
• Willingness to work on-site in Shenandoah, East Baton Rouge Parish.
