Marmon Holdings, a global industrial company backed by Berkshire Hathaway, is hiring a full-time Track Services-Crew Leader (KS/Remote) within its Railserve business to direct on-site rail crews across the United States.
About the Role
As a Track Services-Crew Leader with Railserve, part of Marmon Holdings, you will take ownership of day-to-day field operations and guide your team toward safe, efficient, and high-quality results. This is a hands-on leadership position where you set the pace, model best practices, and ensure every job is completed to standard. The position is based in the United States and is not a remote role despite the KS/Remote designation in the title.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a crew performing rail track services in the field, keeping projects on schedule.
- Champion a safety-first culture and verify that all work follows company and industry standards.
- Plan daily tasks, assign duties, and oversee the quality of completed work.
- Develop, mentor, and support crew members so they can perform at their best.
- Communicate progress, challenges, and outcomes clearly with supervisors and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience, ideally within rail, track services, or a related industrial field.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to operational procedures.
- Ability to organize, motivate, and coordinate a crew in a fast-paced field environment.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work on-site at locations across the US as required by the role.
