About This Position

First American is seeking a detail-oriented Escrow Assistant to support our settlement operations across Wyoming. In this part-time role, you'll play an essential part in the closing process for real estate purchases, refinances, and equity loans. This position offers the flexibility you need while contributing to smooth, accurate transactions that protect buyers and lenders throughout the real estate closing process.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and review escrow documents and closing statements for accuracy and compliance
• Coordinate with real estate agents, lenders, attorneys, and title professionals to gather required documentation
• Manage transaction timelines and ensure all closing requirements are met within agreed deadlines
• Maintain meticulous records and organize files for residential and commercial real estate transactions
• Process payments, disbursements, and escrow fund transfers according to settlement procedures
• Communicate with clients to answer questions about closing costs, required documents, and transaction status
• Support compliance with state and federal real estate settlement regulations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (some college or relevant experience preferred)
• Proven administrative experience, preferably in title insurance, real estate, or legal settings
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
• Proficiency with standard office software and ability to learn escrow management systems
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners
• Knowledge of Wyoming real estate regulations or willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a part-time capacity
