About the Role
As a Developmental Care Specialist with our VanderArk B Program, you will work directly with girls ages 12 to 17 who are part of a specialized residential program designed for youth with developmental disabilities. This full-time, on-site position in Grand Rapids places you at the heart of a dedicated care team focused on stability, growth, and healing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily developmental and behavioral support to adolescent girls in a residential setting.
- Create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment that promotes positive routines and skill-building.
- Assist residents with everyday living activities tailored to their individual developmental needs.
- Collaborate closely with program staff and clinical teams to support each young person's care plan.
- Encourage healthy social, emotional, and behavioral progress through patient, consistent engagement.
