About the Role
As an Equity Research Associate in our Healthcare Sector vertical, you'll conduct comprehensive fundamental and quantitative analysis on publicly traded healthcare companies. You'll build financial models, track industry trends, and produce original research to support investment decisions across our institutional client portfolios. Working within a collaborative research culture that values independent analysis, you'll develop specialized knowledge in healthcare subsectors including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, healthcare services, and diagnostics.
What You'll Do
- Perform fundamental analysis on healthcare companies, reviewing financial statements, regulatory filings, clinical trial data, and competitive positioning
- Build detailed financial models to forecast revenue, earnings, and valuation across healthcare subsectors
- Monitor industry developments, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes affecting healthcare investment theses
- Synthesize research findings into written analysis and recommendations for portfolio managers and clients
- Attend company conferences, participate in management meetings, and conduct investor discussions in the healthcare space
- Collaborate with senior research analysts and investment teams across multiple strategies
What We're Looking For
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with proficiency in Excel and research databases
